Well, I'm beginning on the subject at school, and am currently learning actionscript and stuff. It's very complicated and it will be awhile before my first game, but someday, maybe i'll post a game.

if you think thats complicated... woah... As3 is easiest language to learn in programming (in my opinion).

If you want hardcore games like super stacker you got to learn extensive physics libraries (how else can you make a circle roll off a triangle?) which I am learning under suggestion of gaz.

Well, I've been in flash for about 10 hours total in the last few weeks learning extensively through tutorials.

I know 10 hours isn't much to base experience off of, but from what i've gather, it is pretty complicated. which is probably why there is a button to do just about each scripting thing

Once i get used to it it will likely become second nature.

thinking back to when I was looking at it... it's probably simpler to look at either a high-level gui+object program language such as vb, or a mid-level language like c/c++... flash confused the heck out of me... not least because it was flash 8 which i hear is more confusing than as3... typing with one hand...
