Crouch button

I want to make it so the guy in my game will crouch if you hit a cerain button, but it already says that if he's standing still he goes to an idle frame. What do I do?

Post your current script; or use this pseudo code;

Change your if standing still play idle to if standing still and not crouching play idle, else play crouching.
