flash 8 is the most popular version that has the most tutorials atm
flash cs3 is the newest, a bit more complicated version

I'll take a stand and say pirating software should be against the rules, and I'm going to guess it violates something.

I'd like to put a stop to it and offer you less illegal advice.

Mow some lawns. Besides that, you can get a student version for less money, but that's for education and you shouldn't make any money with it.

Otherwise, it makes a great birthday/christmas present if you're an only child.
