Bounce Beat (rhythm game)

ok, i have an idea for a rhythm game but i don't wanna have to spend 900 or so bucks for flash

the game is called Bounce beat, you control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, you can move it left or right with the mouse or arrow keys. Balls will fall from the ceiling and you will need to bounce them on the paddle, similar to a game of breakout, the balls should all be set to the music.

now, heres where it gets a little tricker, if you do good on the song the music will go up a layer to a better sounding beat, if you do poorly the music will go down a layer to something that doesn't sound as good. (the wiiware game bit.trip beat has the same concept but with pong.

im not sure how hard this would be to make cuz i don't know how to do flash

there's this game i love called rhythm heaven(for ds) that has a game like that.i like the idea though
