game idea:

this an idea for a game that sprouted in my head for the last couple of hours and which could be fun. I haven't heard of a game in this fasion, but maybe and maybe likely it already exist.
I don't think it's an game fit for an MMO but more of a game you can play with a group of friends at home on a console of with some people online. for this game i stole some ideas from Little big planet which I actualy never played. ahh well here it goes:

The idea is that you form a team. in which each player plays a "class" yet not in a way that most rpg's / mmorpg's know, Tank, Healer, DPS. because you don't fight any evil monsters, but you fight the levels itself.
either levels that are auto generated or made by other people.

you can have classes like, acrobats, engineers, strong people, marksmen.
you don't train yourself to get as many damage from a mob but to keep open a closing elevatordoor so the other team members can get in. or to give the acrobat a little push so he can reach the top of a wall he can't get at himself, create devices as pogosticks, catapults, grabblinghook shooters, gas burners to burn through doors, learn new moves as an acrobat to reach things you couldn't reach before. marksmen who can use the shooting devices. training in their precision.

setting:
different settings give different oppurtunaties.
fantasy: you can implementmagic to the game.
Sci-fi: advanced technology, maybe bionic implants to enhance things
crime: the levels could be buildings you need to break in. steal the recipie

levels:
well it's about men versus enviroment. like i said the lvl itself should be the obstacle. ofcourse lvl's should be of different difficulties. people should be able to need a week to complete a really hard level. and I thought something like, if you complete a lvl you get either a new recipe to make a new sort of equipment, training models unlocks new moves to better or toughen youself up. aswell as vitual money that you need to spend to hire for example a training area to train that skill or to buy the materials you need for that training or the materials to make that recepie. i don't like the idea of "click" grats you learned the superblaster 3000 or click "your muscles grew by three inches and now you can hold open lvl 2 blast doors" people should pay effort ( maybe in a ofline section of the game) to actualy learn that skill. or you could have you own gym/workshop that you need to expand buy new training equipment or materials. the levels shouldn't give something for every member of the team. except for the money. so that to advance as a team you need to help the other member in a lvl that doesn't give anything for you. but that gives the engineer a new recepie to help complete a lvl that will give something for you.

maybe recepies could be combined aswell als other skills ( making combo skills) for instant a regular pogostick makes you jump a meter in the air but if you install hyperdriver 250 you can get up two 2 meters on that pogostick. or you combine that wallrunn with a backflip which gives you some extra airtime in the end.

maybe people can make their own levels two share on the internet, or can write out contests, the team that does this the fastest wins 300 credits.

just an idea that sprouted in my head when I was bored, so please critisize the hell out of it. just wanting too see if such a game could be fun. and sorry about some bad grammer and such, it's been a while since I typed this much in english hehe.
