Ultimate Sniper Game

@nàme: Hmm I'm don't think I could slot that into my game very easily, you're kinda just a hired gun carrying out jobs for a small-time gang. I love the idea of assassinating a stunt devil though so thx for bringing that up

Noobjams one is quite different to most sniper games. On that idea, how about making a puzzle sniper game? You can make it switch between sniper and discovery...might take a long time though, and so would probably include sequels. But definitely worth it.

All the kiddies (including me xD) might complain if you make it too hard, since puzzle games are far different to shooters. But even so, it would be popular among the cleverer ones.

But most of all, try to make it funny...include a few really random scenes or whatever...and try to add in some kind of real-time element...a lot of sniper games make it so you can kill the bodyguard, and then the real guy about 10 days later...

how about there is a rival gang that you need to explode and the rival gang is reallydumb so they have explosives everywhere and you have to shoot the right explosive to blow up the gang or somthing like that


it could be a early easy mission

I've always liked the idea of shooting a car to make it blow up at the right time to send a barrel or chunk of metal flying into someones head. It would act as a nice diversion, which could be the excuse for the mission.

Or, as an odd one, you could have to shoot 3 things at a certain time to save someones life, not people, just things. For example, if Victim A was the one you're trying to save, as he comes around the corner, you shoot a rope holding a big blank that is used to crush and kill Victim B and C, who are out to kill Victim A. After that, Victim A realizes he's in danger, starts to run, and is encountered by Victim D. You must shoot the sign over Victim D's head as he pushes Victim A backwards and pulls out his gun. Shoot, ting, bang. He's crushed. Victim A quickly gtfo's and runs in the opposite direction, where he is suddenly encountered by Victim E, in his car, pulls up beside him and pulls out a gun, you must shoot the gun out of his hand before he pulls off the shot.

The catch to the mission can be a few things. Three bullets, heavily armored car, things that would stop you from killing them normally.

Oh, another neat on would be to have to shoot a switch that calls security to gets someone killed by people on their own team.

Sniper vs Sniper mission would be pretty neat too. In that mission, you have to kill Victim A who is talking on the phone to Victim B, the sniper, and once you kill him, you activate Victim B to search for you, but doing so calls in Victim C, who comes from the other side of Victim A and will get you killed if you don't kill him before Victim B, but Victim B is quick, so you have to take out 2 guys faster than he takes you out.

Those are just a few ideas though.

Anybody got any ideas for fun missions? I'm trying to avoid the usual "Duh - Shoot this guy in the head" set up and make things a little more interesting. I'm especially interested in making puzzling missions where you have to use the scenery.
