God damn it! I've been playing for 30 mins and got a pretty good score, second place I think, and it turns out that I was on the wrong game mode.

Apparently you have to play on Score Attack and not Arcade Mode...

You should really see if the creator of the game will allow you to delete that button, or maybe in the description of the game add something that says that you need to play in Score Attack mode.

And crammarc, it actually does get hard towards 550k-630k (my top )
The bad thing about arcade games, they take too long to get the best score, and someone is gonna beat me with a ridiculous score

Don't worry about me, I'm pretty busy these days, don't really have the time these days. Now that I think about it though this game is kind of unique. At least the way you have to play for a highscore. Its a grind it out game that really requires you to pay attention not like Breakout or Space Invaders where you can zone out. It appears to be a frustrating combo of endurance + skill. It will be interesting to see who claims this score.

These new Games (all those since Topple) are using a brand new high score API I've co-developed with a friend of mine. They all submit your score automatically (well apart from one I'm going to upload later today as the author chose to use a button).

As soon as I get a chance to figure out the javascript involved there will be messages underneath that tell you when your score has been submitted etc. so hopefully it won't be confusing then.

lol, agreed. The game engine is awesome but a steeper difficulty ramp would defo make me more inclined to come back.

It looks like if you play in "score attack" mode you can come back and skip straight to the harder waves though, anybody tried it?

When you write a post hit the diagonal "spoil" button directly above where you are typing (it's the end one).
