It's a bug I'm afraid the games creator is looking into it atm. How many times has it happened to you?

Its happened a lot of times ... I've only played it maybe 30-40 times and its happened at least 10 times the problem is it happens when i get to like 300 feet+ so its so annoying!

Really!? It's only happened to me once + I've played it over 100 times

Is there something you do that triggers it? Damion thought it might be jumping off the corner of a block. I spend most of my time walljumping + it doesn't ussually happen to me.

That's What happened to me at about 3000 feet so I couldn't go too much farther.

This game is one of the best i have played, and THE best on "The Game Home Page". I enjoined it the the most of all, but i ask who makes them, i just join 10 min ago

Well, atleast it gives the rest of us a chance..!

Okay, good news everybody, I've now uploaded an updated version of Avalanche which has hopefully fixed this bug for good. Be extra vigilant and let me know if it happens to any of you again while playing the high score version!

Great timing, I did my highscore before you fixed it and now people can get higher than me easier now! lol.

Has anyone else noticed how the game speeds up every now and then?
My game keeps getting faster and faster and faster, then it plummets to slower than normal speed.

has to do with your internet connection i think

I've noticed once and a will that it starts going faster and faster, it might be part of the new version or a glitch either way its kind of annoying . Also i've had that sliding problem a couple of times but that was before this new version and i havent had this problem again, i think its fixed.
