it does seem to be based alot on luck ... which way the wind blows and how many fish there are etc

Here's a little tip for people: a fish will only have a max of 5 nibbles so if the fish has taken 4 nibbles go ahead and click right as he does his fifth, may save a couple seconds in the long run.

I figured out was I was doing wrong. I only placed once and was like wtf then I thought for a second.
