Default Permalinks Don't Work
For a long time I have noticed that when I click the number above a post it does not show the post by itself on a new page like it is suppose to.
It works on other forums and use to work here a while back and I just noticed that I never made a thread about it. Small thing that can probably be fixed very easily so. . . fix it Gaz.

It's handy if you want to give somebody a link to a particular post instead of a thread. For me it actually links to the post but still displays the thread around it. You should still be able to copy and paste the url from your browser bar after clicking it (watch it, it changes) and that should still take people directly to the post.

I thought it used to be how you described it too, it must have changed with the recent software update
