What are the duties of a moderator (lol, I said "duties") and what does it take to become a mod?

• good amount of posts
• not retarded, almost smart at least
• have a lot of knowledge about forums
• be nice
• be helpful
• been on the site for quite a long time
• most members know you
• not be a spammer
• cool
• Gaz like
• mod experience
• are god
• and more (don't remember right now)

Things that will hurt your chances

• simply your a noob
• your a spammer
• your mean
• low rep
• low posts
• you have been banned (this means you have no chance)
• Gaz personally hates you and wants you to die
• be a suck up
• constantly asking to be a mod. just asking will hurt.
• members hate you
• Being the anti-Gaz
• be satan
• having no mod experience
• and more (again I don't remember right now. tired)

Oh and basically a mod helps Gaz control the site. Look around for rule breaking, delete spam, move things like threads that are in the wrong place, help users, and many more. Kind of mini admins. They are the Moderators and you just don't mess with them or you will most likely get banned for mod abuse.

And I thought 36 rep was not that bad lol...

I think at least 50 rep and like 500 posts. Bigmutha had slightly more than that and the other mods got modded long time ago but have high in both now.
I personally think I have the greatest chance at being a mod but common why wouldn't I?
