In compete, you can play many arcade games, and try for high-scores. It also takes your average for each game, and makes a total average. For example, mine is 21%. That means I am better than 21% of people on this site. Then there is a leader board, to show everyone where they rank against other people.

Also, for future reference, the green bar below everyone's name is the average percent (in the arcade) for that user.
Mine is very low.

After this post, I'll know what mine is!
But yes, the Compete section is where you can play against other members for high scores in certain games. 70.2% OMG!
